As the State begins to reopen, we have also reopened our office and services to normal business, as normal can be during these difficult times. Our office will be reopened on June 15, 2020 for walk in business. As our entry area is small, only one customer may enter at a time and we do request that a mask be worn during your visit. Our recommendation to our customers is call first to request an appointment so no one is left standing outside in wait. We will accept cash payments; however, we prefer that another type of payment be made. The transference of cash increases the risk to you and our employees in handling money, please take this into consideration when making your payments.
Our drivers will continue to not accept cash payment on delivery. As the drivers are on the road all day and in and out of their vehicles, it is more difficult for them to wash their hands, put masks on and off, or protect themselves against the virus. Payment arrangements should be made with the office when your order is placed.
Our service technicians are provided with proper PPE to enter and service your heating and cooling needs in your home. We do request for technicians to have direct access to your system if possible. Allow our technicians to complete their work while maintaining distance and make payment arrangements with our office staff so the technician can avoid person to person contact.
Except with these adjustments, business is open as usual for all your needs. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office for further information.
Take Care of Your Home Heating Equipment in Western Massachusetts
February is the month of love! Show your Western Massachusetts home heating system some love this month by using the tips below. Remember, when you’re a customer of Bay State Fuel Oil, home heating maintenance doesn’t have to be a hassle! Contact us for affordable home heating equipment service.
Schedule an Annual Tune-Up
Annual system tune-ups are the best way to keep your home heating furnace or boiler running smoothly for years. By scheduling this preventative maintenance during the spring or fall, you can give your heater the care and cleaning it needs to continue running efficiently. Tune-ups can also catch small issues before they turn into large and expensive problems.
Enroll in a Service Plan
If you’re going to book a yearly tune-up (which we highly recommend for safe and efficient heating) you can spend just a little more to get exclusive coverage and discounts with a service plan. We offer a variety of service plans to fit every home comfort budget, and each one includes your tune-up.
Consider an Equipment Replacement
If your home heating system is on its last legs, consider a high-efficiency oil or gas furnace or boiler upgrade from the experts at Bay State Fuel Oil. We have the staff and experience it takes to provide you with a high-quality furnace or boiler that will suit your family’s heating preferences at a great price.
Install a Programmable Thermostat
If you aren’t using a programmable thermostat, consider the benefits of getting one: you can automatically turn your heat down at night or while you’re at work. This both reduces your home heating fuel bills AND gives your furnace or boiler a break for significant periods of time throughout the day. You can even get a Wi-Fi thermostat that you can control right from your smartphone!
