As many companies push for normalcy by fully restarting their businesses, we are working hard to keep our employees and customers as safe as possible. Our office will continue to accept one walk-in customer at a time. We respectfully request that walk-in customers to wear a mask when entering to help ensure that our space is as safe as possible. Please give the office a quick call if you plan to stop by for a visit. We will do our best to have any paperwork ready and waiting for you upon arrival. We are now accepting cash payments, as well as credit cards, debit cards, checks, and online transactions.
In addition, our drivers will now accept cash for fuel delivery. Please have exact change to minimize your contact with our drivers, whose protection is limited to social distancing and PPE. If you do not have exact change or would prefer contactless payment, we will be happy to arrange a different settlement method prior to your delivery.
Our service technicians are provided with the proper PPE to enter your home and service your heating needs. Before your service appointment, Bay State Fuel Oil office staff will confirm the safest way for our technician to enter your home to provide the service you have requested. If our technicians need to come into your living area, we request that a safe social distance is met and that you wear a mask as well. This will help us achieve our goal of keeping both our customers and our employees safe.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office. Starting October 1, 2020, our office will be available for seasonal hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. We appreciate your continued support and patience during these unprecedented times.
Oil Heat Cares along with Bay State Fuel Oil helping to heat homes! Yesterday, we had the privilege to help a Senior Citizen in need. Mrs. Tonelli of Agawam found herself without heat for this coming winter, her boiler sprung a leak. On a fixed income and no available funds from the fuel assistance program for boiler replacement, she began to worry about her heating needs for this coming season. Bay State Fuel reached out to a program called Oil Heat Cares.
Oil Heat Cares is a fully funded Organization by sponsors and donations from participating fuel dealers. This is a program that we have supported since its inception and have participated in the many fund raising events throughout the years. Oil Heat Cares donated the boiler Mrs. Tonelli needed. The Oil burner was donated by Carlin Combustion Technologies and parts were sponsored by FW Webb Company. The completed installation was provided by Bay State Fuel Oil. We called to tell Mrs. Tonelli that we were going to replace her boiler for no charge through all the donations received and she was very overwhelmed. Mrs. Tonelli has been a customer with Bay State Fuel Oil for more than 30 years and is the third customer that we have installed systems for through the Oil Heat Cares Program. We thank them for their support.
Bay State Fuel Oil partners with the Oil Heat Cares foundation to help those within our area in need. We donate our time and resources to install new heating systems at no cost to the homeowner.
Working with the Oil Heat Cares Foundations, Bay State Fuel Oil recently installed a new boiler for a single mother and school teacher in Springfield, MA. More Info.
